CB750F Forks with CB550 Wheel - Easy Caliper Choice?
« on: February 21, 2008, 09:13:10 AM »
Does anyone know if there is a caliper that will bolt straight onto this fork and line up with a CB750/4 disc on a CB550/4 wheel? Tall order, but you never know. Or failing that can anyone suggest a caliper that will nearly fit, ie. with a custom bracket.

Cheers in advance....

 :) :) :)

Er...not entirely sure what combo you have, but
I can tell you that a 750 caliper and caliper hanger
will bolt directly to a 500 fork leg. You must of course
also use the 750 rotor in that setup.
Bikes parked out front mean good chicken-fried steak inside.

Nothing, to my knowledge, will bolt straight on and work. You are gonna have to fabricate an adaptor plate
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).
