Hope you're OK Sam - you can rebuild the motor for another go - tell us all about it when you're back!

How sad after a years preparation. The bike left the line great and felt fine, I hooked it into second and at 11,000 rpm I felt it peck.
It had built up enough speed for me to coast about a quarter of a mile and only required a push of about 100 yards back to the pit.
I pulled the tank and removed the plug to find it was burnt out as it was 3 weeks ago despite jetting right up.
I'm wondering if the motor is taking in air from another point causing the weak burn.
Although the motor only has 43 miles on it, I'm going to do a complete overhaul if I can find all the necessary parts and start again.
I think this thread is going to be very quiet for a long time as we wait for funds to build up. :( :( :(

Sorry guys, Sam. ;)

n/a ?
is it just one cylinder that blew ? my knoledge of two strokes could be written in large letters on the head of a pin, but are you running one carb per pot and are they fed directly to the piston port ?

anyways good luck for your next attempt  :)

It blew on all cylinders mate, all one of it :D :D :D :D :D :D what a silly scun

t you are ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

The best part of the disappointment was having to drown my sorrow. ::) ::) ::) ::)

that makes pinpointing the disaster a wee bit easier then, not enough cylinders( have had a couple myself Sam so bear with me)
