he will help you out when he is on line as it is my brothers bike and as you can see i am of the car fraternity however i am dipping my toe in the water with dare i say it a british military bike as my first restore project !

Sounds great, but looking forward to the full-bore sound.

On an aside, what kind of video camera did you use?  Looks like you're all underwater.

Do they all have to be revved incessantly or is that just this bike ?

Its a CR engine, doesn’t have the charging system so the cover is cut down to save on space for the fairing.
The engine case is different in other ways as well.

Inane Cathode,  British racing regulations specify that if you let go of the twist grip, the throttle must snap shut and the engine die. (Safety in case of falling off)

It was a casting from an original CR750 cover that a guy had done.  He had a few done and we were lucky to get the last one.
