Hello all,
I am a 37yr old family man father of 4 in my 6th year of street bike riding. I make a living as a mechanic and cant get enough of anything internal combustion powered (especially muscle cars and vintage bikes). I just bought my third SOHC a 76 CB550 super sport. Its a chicken coupe special so all the chrome is shot. I plan on tearing it down and building my first cafe bike. I would like to change the wheels (something lighter), add dual front discs, lose the front forks with the rubber boots for starters. As I stated this is my third SOHC I had a 76 cb550 for my first bike (lasting impression) and a 71 CB750. Somewhere in there was a Kow and a couple of Yammi's. I also plan on doing some first time polishing so any suggestions are welcome I plan on searching the forum and asking questions. Looking forward to your suggestions.
