Looks the business. As you know, they are very popular over here (although we don't get to 400cc version).

How much is 1100 NZ$ in real money?

cben - looks like a great bike! I love the fairing and overall cafe look straight from the factory.

We actually had some posts about these great bikes in an earlier thread.

My post is here http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=28537.msg294251#msg294251

and I actually posted about the GB400 MkII from 1985 and it looks the same as the one you are looking at!

Also have a look at the home market catlogue scans here http://members.ld.infoseek.co.jp/m_tachi/bike/catalog.html

    Hey Ben,

Don't really know anything about the bike except what I've seen here. Sharp looking bike though and DOES have the looks, foe sure! 8) ;)

                                         Later on, Bill :) ;)

Its basically an XR400 motor in a street chassis so all the XR tuning bits fit in there. 440 kit, carb and cam and its a real little racer
I think the exhaust is the main restriction  but it should be a real fun bike on twisty roads (probably no fun on main highways though)
