Topic: Chat room help please

I have used IM and ICQ but not chat rooms.  Can some one out there tell us stupid people how it works and how do you get some one that is on the forum to join you in a chat?  I added 2 buddys and then I went back and they were gone?  Are they mad at me, don't want to be my buddy?  I wandered  off in to some kind of "queer" room and tipped my hat and backed out the door back to SOHC chat but know one is ever in there.  I just sit in there alone and wait and wait but no one will come in and talk to me, sort of like my 14 year old daughter.

 I accually broke out in a full blown belly laugh at closing of your statement! I had had 2 images in my head one of a young teen female sitting in her room staring at a phone that never rings and 1 of a adult male sitting at a computer desk with a soch4 tee shirt on...staring at the screen...

Thank you...I really needed that today.

Yeah..I can't "chat" ether. I just get a gray block where I believe there should be ...something.

Yea they got me too. I never fall for the old dropped the soap trick,  but I fell for the old dime on the floor trick.

I left that chat room feeling dirty, I had to go shower, drink 3 beers, kick the dog and empty a full clip into the night air before I could sign back on.
