New CB550 owner from NJ
« on: February 25, 2008, 05:01:25 PM »
I purchased a 74 CB550 a couple of weeks ago for my new project.  I found this forum when searching for info about the 550.  I have to say there is a lot of it here!  This seems like a great place with a lot of knowledgeable people.  I've started working on the bike but I'll post those pics in a project thread that I'm going to start.  I know everyone likes pics so here are some of the CB550, my daily ride and a couple of past bikes.

550

My daily Ride.  06 VFR with ABS.

My old DL1000 V-strom.(Not normal riding gear)

77 KZ400 (was going to be a project but was offered 3x what I paid so I sold it.

My ZX7R Streetfigher.  Built from the ground up.

wow, I really like that VFR!

Did you buy that CB550 from the guy in Bergenfield that's been on Craigslist?

Welcome!

Welcome.  Looks like you've got a good start on your project.  Let me know if you need parts.  I've got to spare engines that the wife would like to see find a home that's not ours. ;D

Thanks!  The VFR is the absolute smoothest bike I've ever owned.  No I didn't get the bike up there.  I'm in S. Jersey and bought it from a local guy.

Did someone say parts?  What else you got?  ;D
