The radio said "5.7" at 0600 and "5.3" at 0630. Do they really know?

I'll go and check on John Burren as he's in Lincolnshire. Noel - you sure it was in the NW?

Didn't feel anything here in Somerset but a friend in North Lincoln felt her house shaking and all her pets (four dogs, two cats and two horses) were running around pretty freaked out by it.
Fingers crossed no one is hurt.

About six years ago, we had an earthquake centered in upstate New York. I was in Boston, but it woke us up. I was dreaming and all of the sudden I feet the bed gently going back and forth sideways. I was awake for 15 seconds of the shake, but I guess it lated about 30-40 seconds. Later my daughter asked us why we shook her bed.

Stats for the UK.

Of the 200 earthquakes per year only 25 are felt.

A quake the size of last nights only happens every 30 years.

I never felt anything last night but other people that live in the area did, and said it was quite bad. :-\

It's only testing this year Paul.  Starts on the 23rd March over the standing quarter, then on the 10th May over the standing kilo.

The terminal speed at the end of the kilo should give me a good indication to the bikes top speed potential.

Standing start mile runs will take place on 5th July.
