New Guy from Arizona
« on: February 26, 2008, 05:09:40 PM »
Hello everyone from a newbie in Northern Arizona!! ;D

I have been looking around this forum for the last year or so and I have gathered a wealth of info for refurbishing my recently purchased '76 750k with around 19k miles.

As a teen in the 70's, I had a 550 Honda. I took a bad spill on it and gave up riding for awhile. Since then, I have been riding ATVs, cruisers and Harley sportsters on and off. About a year or so ago, I yearned for another old classic. This 750 became available so I trailered her up from Phoenix.

With my limited knowledge of bikes I have been replacing some worn and some missing items. Your collective know-how has helped me through some perplexing problems and has kept me from making some stupid blunders. Thanks for your help.

I hope I can count on some of you to guide me through the rest of my goal to bring this beast up to the rank of "a very nice rider" bike. As soon as I am more familiar with this site I will post a photo.

Trust me, I will be coming to you with my hat in hand for your help. Thanks again.

Welcome. Sigh, another member who can ride year-round... it's not fair. :'( How about a picture of your bike?
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

Welcome.  I'll pretend to not feel the same jealously that Bob does. ;D
