Living in Chicago nothing is better for cruising around the city than the 550.  If i still lived in Oklahoma City I would probably upgrade to the 750.

my dad races the cr 750  so id go for that but if i was gonna ride on the road then id have the cb750 :D ;D ben

Different bikes for different riding pleasures.  I like the CB750K for the nostalgia and riding something that most people do not have.  It is also good for some envious looks and great comments from people.  I enjoy the CM400's for cruising around town.  The Wing is needed to keep my wife happy on the longer highway jaunts.

+100 on that, I mainly like the nostalgia and the fact that most people don't have one but they will at the same time say " Hey aint that a cb750? Man I remember those and they were great bikes!"

my next bike would be a 350 cl twin , i like full roller crank bearings and one piece connecting rods just like my current 05 Rebel 250,love the Rebel top speed is about 80sh oh well good enough,the 350s are small and cute,,have three k8750s on the side ,those are my summer projects,oh boy do i have projects,mustangs here and there,now k8s here and there

Although I just bought a '72 CB750, I sure love the nostalgic racers...
Guess I'd lean toward the CR750 if you could find one reasonable priced. 

In talks with a buddy of mine about building a replica / or something very similar to the
Cr's out of aluminum.  Plenty of stuff around to bang out a nasty motor...with his metal working skills (he's been on Biker Build-off & worked for Chip Foose as his metal guy for a time) I think we could combine our skills and build a nasty tribute to the CR.

I'm just trying to imagine the response to one of those pulled up at my local bar.

I voted for the cb175, was my first street bike and I rode that sucker more than any other bike I had combined. Seems the more power I got the less I rode.  :D

I'll have to go with the CB750. Im too big for the smaller ones (6'5" 230lbs). The CR is cool, but not practical for daily driving.

I want more CB750s!!!

I street ride. What is the point of a race replica if you can't street ride. Sure they are pretty, and having a "street legal" one would be cool but then it would not be a real CR750. CB750 all the way.

Geeto, The very first CR750 did have lights. It was raced in the Bol d Or 24 hour race and won it.

So you really can have a CR with lights. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
