gas tank
« on: August 24, 2010, 03:21:58 PM »
Hey guys i want to put a custom gas tank on my bike but i had a few questions on it.  I have a 73 cb 750 and the frame has a tube for the gas tank and a few inches lower there are two tubes that connect to the back frame and i wanted to know do i need to remove them and add a gusset or can i relocate them to mount a new custom tank?

i really guess that would depend on the type of tank you wanted to run
they are supposedly there to remove flex i will be cutting mine an installing the gordon frame kit so i can remove the motor easier but it just depends on what you want to do with your bike if i were gona take them out i would definetly gusset the fram and other wise reinforce it
live like an outlaw and love like an angel
crash
blacked out gauges rock
