I wonder which is more common?  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Okay, so if I have this correct:

1)  Produce crappy song that has no chance of going anywhere.

2)  Whore myself out to prominent politician.

3)  Profit!!

Now where's that slip of paper with Hillary's number on it? :-*

The "Skanky Ho" versus "Babe" thing is interesting, years ago an buddy of mine's sister (Cheryl Copeland) was "Penthouse Pet of the Month" here in Oz, and we all had signed posters of her plastered everywhere, much to his embarrassment.

He was deployed to Cambodia on a peace keeping job, and while over there, was involved in a really bad vehicle accident, and was casevac'd back to Oz.

Cheryl came in to collect some of his personal stuff, and when she came in, I didn't even look at her twice, she was just wearing jeans and a T shirt, and just looked like any other chick on the street. It wasn't until I'd been chatting to her for awhile as we were emptying her brother's locker, that it dawned on me that the "Babe" that I'd been leering at for months, was this chick right in front of me!

And that's the thing, half of the young girls out there, with some make-up, their hair done, their tattoo's airbrushed off and some soft lighting, will look as good, or better, than a lot of "professional" models, but on other days, may well look like skanky ho's. It's amazing the difference a nice coat of paint makes............ ;D

Great point Terry. Sorry about your friend getting messed up in Cambodia. I briefly visited there a couple of times unannounced. I am wondering how this fellow made out in his dealings with the OCC bunch.

I'm still here. :)

Nothing new. I had to make some room in my one car, detached, garage....so I ended up selling my 1976 K6. Truck is coming to pick it next week. (The bike was just sitting, needing the love I wasn't giving....:(....)

Anyway, I'll know more over the next couple weeks whether I can afford the time off to go out there and see them before I ship them back.

Either way, I'll be keeping this thread updated. :)

If you do come East to look at the bikes and he timing is right I will meet you there at OCC and we can have a good look see. I was gonna offer to go over an take a look and some pictures earlier, but work has been kicking my ass lately.

Thanks Bobby. I'll let you know.

Thanks again for the offer!

....and I know what you mean about work....I haven't been to sleep since yesterday about 5 am.....  :-\

BTW: I don't think the bikes are at the shop. I *think* they are at Paul Sr.'s house...

I'll post an update soon.

Cheers all!

<D>
PS: Would love to meet up with some of youse guys on the road this summer. I'll be taking a ~6000 mile moto camping trip (probably on the ST1300) up the CA coast then to Utah, montana and WY, Colorado, NM (Taos), AZ (Grand Canyon). Leaving with my bro on 6/13 and returning to San Diego 6/31....
