Carb rebuild kit parts question. '72CB750K vs '73
« on: March 03, 2008, 07:11:23 AM »
Just need confirmation.    '72 CB750K
are  the carbs for the '72 the same as the '73 ?
Wanting to order these carb kits: http://www.z1enterprises.com/detail.aspx?ID=482
They are for a '73.  No '72 is listed.  They look the same to my eye...
Anybody know for sure ?

Just looked at this link a few days ago for my 550K but it is inclusive of all models so it contains the 750's as well.  Looks like there are about 5 casting numbers for your 750, jet sizes being the difference.  This is from the carb faq.

The kit works fine in a 72 but keep in mind there were differences in jetting between 72 and 73. That kit comes with 110/40 jets and Ive gone to 115/40 in my K2 as it was running too lean on the 110s. But its a good place to start and all components will fit -keep in mind that aftermarket carb kits are not always as good quality as Honda....saying that Ive never had a problem.

Good luck
Andy
