Well Terry, whats is your murder rate over there,I hear it is up quite high. A baseball bat or a wnife works well for thart I hear. Anyway who said I didn't have any training in firearms? I DO have a concealed permit! I am Not a good victim.As far as punks go,if they want a trip to visit "Digger O'dell" let them try one on me and see how they can do!

chromey,i agree,people can say what they want about loud pipes but i can testify that they work.i almost hit a guy on a sportster in 1986,but luckily for him and me i suppose he had drag pipes and i heard him before i pulled in front of him.

What i do know is if ilm in traffic in a car i can usually hear a loud bike way before i see it,especially if its 4 cars back and to the left or right.Much like a plane going over head,you hear it coming before you see it.

Hey, thanks for proving my point.  You can hear it but you have no Idea where the sound is comming from.

Like a Plane overhead? Apples vs. Oranges, You are stationary and the plane is a long way away. Ever notice how it takes 10-15 seconds minimum to tell the direction the sound is coming from then zero in on a particular section of sky?

 Poker cards attached to the wheels to give it some sound?  The kid on our block who had the most noise
had the coolest bike...oh, of course the highest sissy bar as well!
