Looks as though Brett Farve is retiring from the Packers.

He is 38 and has done very well. Wonder what will happen now with the packers.

Ummm, considering they just lost the guy who made all their mediocre players look decent on the field, my guess is they're in for a few losing seasons...

certainly seems like its all people are talking about here in WI. Fact of the matter is that we all new it was coming sooner or later. I think it's good he left now. He got us one game away from the super bowl and thats pretty damn good. Might as well leave on a high note.

As far as I'm concerned, the Packers need this. They need to learn how to function without Favre and now is as good a time as any. Aaron Rodgers did good when he subbed for Favre during that one game, so I'm not worried.

What is that familiar saying, "the Pack will be back."  People here in WI are a little upset he made his announcement in Miss. and did not hold a conference here.  What the heck, the guy deserves some time off.  Give him a break...retire healthy.  He gave Green Bay and the fans a name and a game.  Good luck to Brett and enjoy retirement.  Aaron Rogers will hold his own...
