« on: March 02, 2008, 07:32:06 PM »
Just recieved my rebuild kits: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190197598963
This is a first for me in terms of dealing with more than one carb...I have them removed and ready for cleaning.  Any tips/advice or how to's for me would be greatly appreciated...How to Sync, ect.  Thanks in advance -Justin

Do a good search of the archives.  This topic has been discussed alot, including some long stuff under my name.  ;)

Seriously, start by having good instructions.  Pay special attention to springs and levers, maybe photo them if you have a digital camera.  I had separate cans and ziploc bags for each carb and it's parts.  Work slowly, methodically.  Anytime you get stuck or confused and can't figure it out, stop a moment and get on here and give a yell.  Folks'll talk you through whatever you need.  If you Google the topic, there are some links to some online tutorials that I liked.  I had my laptop in the garage and just worked with it.
