« on: April 28, 2010, 07:59:14 PM »
Just saw an ad for a early one.. very strange..

#4 pipe runs down at about a 40 degree angle, then 3, 2, & 1 run int it at opposing angles.. :o ???

Does not look like it made good power..?

I didn't know that Rickman made pipes Andy. Mine had a Motad on it but I swapped it for this Laser - more fitting (especially the noise it makes!)

that laser is a sexy looking header. i'd love to have one on my k4 750.

That pipe looks like the Marshall Deep Tone I have for my project. I think Marshall bot Laser or the other way around? My understanding is they are no longer available in the US.

Anyway, you like the way it sounds?

PS: 754 sorry, but I'd never heard of a Rickman pipe either.

Rickman may have made pipes.  The pipes for the Triumph T100 Metisse are specific to that model only as they were made to run within the bounds of the Metisse frame.  I don't see anyone else making an aftermarked pipe for them that would be so specific and limited in scope.  That said the T100 Metisse pipe was straight through.  Basically bent pipe.  Here are some pics of the Rickman CR750.  One shows stock pipes, the other non-stock pipes.  Post a pic of your exhaust, someone will be able to identify it.

Nothing like that..
Pipe 4 runs from port to oil filter to I think 2 mufflers  (think of their Nirtin pipe) then 3 us about 6inches long after bend and kjoins 4, then 2 is  maybe a foot long, and 1 is longer.. a very unequal length pipe.. :o
