Hello From Wisconsin-
« on: February 20, 2008, 04:55:23 PM »
Hey everyone-
My name's Steve, but most people call me Fonz. Long story.
Anyway, I've got a '74 CB750 I'm breathing new life into. Hardtail drop-seat frame, inverted front end, 1st Gen. GSXR wheels, 836cc build, hydraulic clutch... Not much should be left from the original bike by the time I'm done. If everything stays on schedule, she should be terrorizing the Milwaukee area by Spring 2009.
Hopefully I'll be able to get some pictures up along the way...

Welcome to the forum from a fellow Wisconsinite! I hope you will have a great time here, the people are great and a wealth of information! Can't wait to see the pics  ;D
There are old bikers and there are bold bikers but there are very few old, bold bikers.

Not doing what you can to make your bike ride-able during the best riding months of the year kind of defeats the purpose of owning it in the first place.

Apollo,
You need to get out to the Slimey Crud Run this spring and fall. I usually take my S3. Big group of us always go....

Thanks for all the greetings, guys.
No, I haven't gotten to Rockerbox; something inevitably comes up every time.
I've got to get ahold of a decent camera, and I'll get some pics up as the project progresses.

I also saw something posted on a chop site about a dells ride this summer. I think in July geared toward vintage and the non Harley set I believe is how the posting went. Anybody have any info?
