Topic: Youtube This video is not available in your country

I spent my morning trying to play videos from http://www.youtube.com/sbk.

For some reason, the videos are censored for the USA.

I found a solution and thought I should share it:

when you hover with your mouse over the video you want to watch, you see something like ...youtube.com/watch?v=CODE

in the URL bar, you just have to write
...youtube.com/v/CODE
or another way to explain:

right click on the thumbnail
copy shortcut to new address bar and edit to remove '/watch?v=' replace with '/v/'

Testing:
http://www.youtube.com/v/8RpubXgTFNs

And it doesn't work from here.  But if you copy into an address bar, it will work.



There is another solution that I haven't tried.  You have to change your proxy server.

There is a video on the YouTube site that explains how to get around it using firefox however, just search "this video is not available in your country" and it should be at the top of the list.

BTW:  I think it's amoral for this site http://www.worldsbk.com/pubb_EN/ to tresspass onto my machine just to tell me I am not worthy to access their server.
