I actually have the 'sandcast' tach. Seriously, I should put it on fleabay. Could buy half the engine upgrades I want with that kind of sale.
No.

I don't have that much total in my K0. Who are these people spending all this money on Hondas? I love my bikes, but for the love of God......

There are currently 10 fools bidding, but the senior fool, "Sandguss", is no fool, he's a businessman.............  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I dunno about the fool thing, but I do know that even if someone can get $25,000 for the sandcast this goes on, they've already got 4 percent of the purchase price tied up in the tach alone. I don't know how you make money that way. Guess that's why I'm not a businessman....

Yes, Sandguss knows what it's all about. It's for a K0 or a sandcast so that's why it costs a lot of money boys.

Yeah, the early instruments with the plastic housings are very rare indeed.

Are you SURE you'll never need one this badly?  Cause, you know, I have one that I could sell you lol!   ;)

I have one lined up locally but the guy who owns it, and about 4 or 5 others, is a bit hard to deal with at times. I'm hoping to catch him on a good day when I have some cash to spare.

I bought a nice K0 tach on EBay for 20 bucks because it has no plastic case or lens, but the face is nice with a bright readline etc.

I'm gonna buy new faces and cases from Yamiya for the speedo and tach that are on my bike now, then install the EBay tach in my old case and flog it on EBay with the used speedo case and the used speedo and tach faces, and I'll probably get back most of the money I pay Yamiya. Cheers, Terry. ;D

I for one think that these high prices reflect how important historically these bikes are considered.Besides, after I sell my recessed ign. switch ,four cable carbs, and having already sold my oil tank and air cleaner housing,I will still have a complete bike left over for free and jingle in my pocket.Of course,I am conveniently ignoring the wheel barrow loads I have fed into it over the years.Oh well!
