Topic: uk members registering a bike?

don't mean to offend non uk members  but i think this one is for nearer home ,ok i am hoping to be buying a 750 with a 70' 71' frame and a 76' engine the current owner has no log book and the po before him did'nt have it either  ,i would like to get a log book in my name and i would also like to be able to get it on its original plate and then it will qualify for free road tax,how do i go about it please? thanks mick.

thanks dave, i will see if i can get the current owner or the previous owner to find a mot certificate or an old road tax disc ,i dont want to sell the bike or make it conkers i just want to ride it with FREE ROAD TAX lol  mick.

this is going to cost me i bet coz dvla want paying for everything nowadays      hopefully it will be worth it in the end  i already have the frame and engine numbers so i might start making some enquires ?   mick.
