anybody have a good set of STD cb750 pistons?
« on: March 07, 2008, 01:04:13 pm »
one of you 836 guys keep your stock pistons? i'm rebuilding an engine for someone else, and the pistons are TRASH. scuffs on the skirts of all four, like someone ran it way too hot. he's trying to decide whether to go 836 or find some cheap stock pistons (assuming the cylinders aren't also damaged beyond specs--won't know 'til the end of the day).

PM me if you've got any.

Which 750 engine do you need pistons for,Paul. There's a few different types depending on year and model. I've got a set of 78K pistons from a good engine. Haven't inspected them closely but can do so if you think they will work for ya.
Give me..a frame to build a bike on, and my imagination will build upon that frame

they're for a K1 engine- but no worries, i found a set in my shop.  ::) actually, one of my friends saw this thread, and called reminding me that he has a set of stock pistons, as he's going with some yoshi 811s he found. they're sitting on a shelf 50 feet from my work area.  ::)
