'78 CB750F Exhaust Flange the same as on a CB750K?
« on: March 07, 2008, 03:41:30 PM »
Hi All,

Was needing to replace the missing exhaust flanges on my '78 CB750F in order to mount a new Mac exhaust.

I ran across a set for a CB750K on fleabay and they appear to be the same as I've seen in pictures on the F models...

Anyone know for sure if they are the same part?

Thanks in advance for the assist

Jay

77-78 750K collars are the same as 75-78 750F collars if I'm not mistaken. '76 and under K clamps will not work. Don't know what auction you're looking at but they should be a solid circle with two holes in them to slip over your exhaust studs(cylinder head).

You will need the split flanges to use these collars which should be supplied with your Mac if you bought it new.
Give me..a frame to build a bike on, and my imagination will build upon that frame
