elizabeth and i just got back from a ride around town and a stop at sonic.  first ride of the season!   ;D 8) ;D

i think the last time we started the bikes was september or october  :'(

her srx600 started first kick
her ex500 cranked up quickly
my zx7r needs a lot of fuel to fill the bowls but once that was done she purred instantly
my cb350f... cranked and cranked and ran the battery dead  :'(  out of gas  ;D

since i haven't been able to fix the 350 from puking oil everywhere while under pressure i opted for the kawi... and the expired plates are more hidden  8)

she rode her kawi as well... the yami has no plates at all since she just traded the viffer for it.

:)   ITS HERE... THE SEASON IS UPON US!!!   :)

Been riding all winter, but today was a treat.  A steady rain and 45 degrees (that's good old fashioned Fahrenheit, to those of you anywhere but the U.S.).  You've never lived till you feel the first trickles of icy cold water on your nethers as the waterproof riding pants you bought prove that they're not.  This with the full knowledge that you've got 30 minutes of riding left.

Whats wrong Heffay?  I've ridden just about every weekend all year.
Ok some where very short but all I have is the bike. Best one was when I went to arura one day. They still had snow in the parking lots and streets very wet.

up until the beginning of this year it had been 2 years for me w/out 4 wheel transpo (aside from my work truck)... i've been enjoying the heater and windows  ;D

plus, being fresh out of school has not afforded me any leisure time to speak of while trying to get the biz going.  my present remodel takes me up long's peak basically too... no getting in or out of there w/out 4x4.

the cb needs some love so i didn't even really want to try to start her last night but she begged me to.
the 7r needs chain and sprockets so i've also been leery of riding it as well.

and to think that i'm going into my "busy" work season  :'(

Been a long time for me too. I had to go heat the garage just so I could start the bike up and do a burn out. Nothing like smokin the tire in 10 deg F weather (30 deg garage). Speaking of cold, Friday night I saw a guy on a KLR650 in Minneapolis. It was 4 deg F outside. Crazy mofos.

Heffay you luck man.  ;)

Yep, still got snow in Vermont. Huh, who would have thought?

4 days ago trolling in the woods for firewood I sank up to my hips in snow when the iced sections broke. Really cant wait for spring.

27 miles south in Massachusetts most of the snow is gone. Wierd.
