I would be dead within a week of owning something like that.  Just wouldn't be able to resist "trying her out".  It is a beautiful bike though.

I dunno.  It's a great bike, piece of hstory, "street legal superbike" blah, blah, blah.  But, for that money you could take a "Busa or a ZX14 and make it faster.  Kinda like when someone pays $250k for a lambo or a ferrari when a 'Vette with mods could be at the same level for half the price.  Maybe I'm just not the target consumer for this one...

Naw, you couldn't take a Jap bike and make it even close. It did dominate the GP last year. 
I don't need it cause, 1; can't afford to buy it.
and 2, couldn't ride it well enough to use all the potential it has.

Saw one in a mag test & tought they had the wrong bike

 Sorta plain looking, I mean some Ducatis looked way more exotic or I thought it would look like maybe the Mv Augusta!!

 But it is probably all business & looks be damned ..like Ducatis USED to be...

When I see a vette on the street I think, "Meh, it's pretty."

When I see a lambo or ferrari on the street I think and say, "Ooooooohhhh..."   

If I knew more about the subtle differences between sport bikes, I'm sure this bike would garner the same reaction.  Unfortunately all I see now is a Ducati, unless someone pointed it out to me

First thing I would do would be to take off that god awful front fairing!  I guess if you were actually using it for what it is made for then you may want it, but to me it is ugly.

Wow.  MSRP was like $73,000 on those.  I bet some rich guys are pretty pissed off right now. 

I agree that fairing is a little plain.  Or as plain as hand laid, wind tunnel designed carbon fiber can be.  There's some serious technology lurking under the wrapper though.

Pretty sure you have to be Australian to ride on of these to it's potential, so I'm out.
