i`ve no idea azuredesign, but from the story i`d say you`d have to ask some of our american members

In the US, the powered bar stools have evolved into racing machines and many bar stool clubs have taken off.

although i reckon they would be lumps of wood to keep people from pinching your beer

Actually, as we Americans de-evolve in the new world economy, having that kind of club may become an alternative. Right now however, I prefer our SOHC4 club.

Back in the day before unibody autos when carriage shops actually made auto bodies, panel beaters were the fellows who shaped aluminum body panels over what were usually wooden frame forms.

I believe nowadays, a panel beater is an auto body repair specialist, but Troppo will have to verify that.

dont know what they are called over in the states but here a body shop or crash repair shop is also known as a panel beaters.
panel beating is a trade that has changed a lot in the last 20 years or so, they dont repair a panel anymore, they usually just replace them now.
