My new daily rider
« on: March 11, 2008, 06:20:29 PM »
I just picked this up today for my daily rider. I was looking for something a little more comfortable than my 750 cafe and a bike that I can ride 2 up on. So I found this and scooped it up. 2005 Buell XB9R Firebolt, only 3400 on the clock.

Those bikes are BAD !
Open up the exhaust and ride the piss outta it.
I was all about buying one of those bikes untill I sat on one, and couldnt take the
"I feel like I am going to do a forward roll over the tank and kill myself" feeling I got.

Great bikes though !  ;D

It is a badass looking machine, to be sure!

Although phrases like "comfortable" and "two-up riding" don't exactly leap to mind when I look at it........

I have always liked the Buells; especially the XB series. The first time I demoed one, I popped a small wheelie at the stop light without even trying.  ;D  People complained when they dropped the CC's down from 1200 to a little over 900. I've ridden both and prefer the 900.

What I really want now is their new 1125R.
