Hi I'm new on the forum and this is my fist post outside the "newbie" area, and have this question to anyone that has had a similar issue.
My bike a 76 cb750 that came with a rear 16 inch harley rim. Nothing "new" there as that is a common mod but with a brand new really good looking Metzeler me 33 laser (or lasertec now) in a 3.50 x 19 57h size in the front.
Here is my deal:
The tire in the front is one size up, a 3.50 instead of a 3.25, and I'm pretty sure this was to compensate a little because of the huge 16 inch tire in the back which among other things increased trail and reduced handling etc.. etc.. My question is what size tire METZELER should I get? I am changing back to the 18 inch rim.
Should I stick with the stock 4.00(roughly a 110 or so) or get a 120size or above to maybe match up better with my front? (according to Hondaman and others this slightly oversize front tire and stock rear set-up would make my front "washout" before my rear in hard cornering). I don't really push my bike too much as far as cornering but don't want to screw with anything further. My 16 inch harley rim makes me feel like I'm sagging all the time and very light in the front, hence the switch back to stock in the rear...
I wanna stick with the lasertecs but I hear the me77 or 88s are good...
Thanks a lot and good riding!
