Honeymoon to Arkansas on the 550F
« on: November 07, 2007, 12:07:00 PM »
Arkansas is great this time of year up around the Little Missouri river.

It was cold but not too bad.  Just enough to keep most of the tourist away.

I took my new wife on my partially restored '77 550F from Dallas.  There are some wonderful curving roads up there.

Anyway, here are some pics:

Congratulations and thanks for the photos. I don't think that after almost 30 years, I'll be doing much cycle touring and camping with my bride, but then again, I'm not sure if she would have gone 30 years ago! Looks wonderful though!

Congratulations. Hope the trip was all good, the pictures are. I've been thru Arkansas several times while I was an antiques dealer going to Dallas, beautiful country. The only bad thing about Arkansas was the "Clinton's". We stopped at a one dirt road town and there walking down the middle of the road was a three legged dog. That about made our day.

Looking at the tent I can tell your a newlywed.  If that was any of us long time married people it woulda been an 8 person tent.  ;D ;D

+3 I took my wife on one camping trip before we were married. If the Hotel does not have 24hr room service, she is camping out. Cogratulations and all happiness to you both.

PS. My wife does not ride on bikes either. We have been going strong for 28 years so you make adjustments.  ;D
