We just put down Vandy, 81 - 75. I'm getting too old for this. Thought we had it sewed up and then Vandy started coming on, much like WE'VE been known to try to do (and fail).

Hey, I'm impressed that they beat Vandy! I didn't keep up with the schedule to see who would possibly be our next opponent and just found out that we were playing Tennesse at 5pm. I realize that we haven't been real consistent in basketball or football for a while, but I gotta have hope. So, Win or Lose,I'm sticking with those Razorbacks.

I figured that we'd come up at the end, but not enough. Boy, was I surprised!

Now, we have to see who's going to come out on top t face us. Oh well, just have to wait and see.

Well, it looks like we face Georgia tomorrow afternoon at 2:30pm.
The game against Tenn. was wayyy too close and now we've got to do it all over again against Georgia. I'm getting toooo old for this.

Well, in the beginning of this game, I was really concerned that it was already over. Georgia was really working the ball. But, Tenn also was putting it on us at first. Then we started to (finally) make some headway. We were down as much as 19 and had gotten as close as 6 and was seeming to do pretty good, an then it started happening. Georgia was making points and the clock was running down. So, Georgia moves on. I feel we did pretty good considering, but not good enough. Maybe next year.

I understand that we are to play Indiana Friday, though I'm not sure why. I don't know that much about how some of this works and if this means that we could still be in the running or not. From what I've heard, Indiana is pretty tough too! $:-\$

Just the luck of the draw. Indiana kicked some KY ass earlier in the year but so did Gardiner Webb at Rupp. Pelphrey has them playing. I was hoping, first, the Cats would even make the tournament, then secondly, they might end up out here in Denver. Oh well, I gotta work anyway.

Okay, I think the fog is lifting and I can better see what is going on.

The actual playoffs to get to the FINAL FOUR, is just now starting up. We play Indiana Friday and the winner of that game goes against North Carolina. $:-\$ One of these days, I'm gonna have to stop watching these games. I'm getting too old for these edge of the seat jobs.

If we don't get washed or blown away, I'm gonna be watching and hoping for the best. It's pretty good, last week we were having snow and now we're having as much as 4-5" of rain (more in some areas), high winds and Tornado Watches! Some teams seem to get straight and do really well in Tournaments, would be nice if we could d that. John Pelphrey HAS been getting things done pretty well for a short time in there. If we can't make it this year, maybe we'll be better lined out next year. Time will tell.

Well, we made it through another round by managing to beat Indiana 86 - 72. Gotta tell ya, I was concerned about this one and NOW we have to face #1 North Carolina. $:-\$ The word Concerned comes no way near the feeling about that game.

Thanks for the "Good Luck" wishes John.

I'm hoping we can keep it going against North Carolina. Gotta have hope, ya know? I don't really know anything about Roy Williams though. I mainly keep up with the Razorbacks and some with the teams that we normally play against. Other than that, I'm not generally very sports minded like some. Now racing and car shows are a different matter. But, I'm not as much into watching racing as much as I used to. Used to watch the Indy 500 and ALL the Drag Racing and Nascar races that were on tv, but they last s long and usually are on during the day n the weekends when I could be outside doing my yardwork or, better yet, doing bikework (which I don't consider work).

After 15 years of coaching at Kansas, swearing he had found his "home" etc. Roy left to coach NC. (where he played) I think I was more upset by that than I was when I found out my ex was screwing around while we were still married.

Roy Williams, saying that he'd found his home in Kansas, is kinda like Bill Clinton telling Arkansans (upon running for Governor that last time) that, if elected he'd stay out the term and not leave to run for President.

Well, it's over and North Carolina goes on to play Washington State because we lost 108 - 77 today. $:-\$ But, even though we lost out, the Razorbacks have accomplished quite a bit with John Pelphrey has done a lot to turn our team around.

Yeah, he seems to be getting things together pretty quickly. A lot of folks have a lot of faith in him and things should only get better, with the talent that we keep getting. I just hope that he'll not jump ship afterwards. If things get really good, other colleges will be trying to get him away. Our guys really played hard in that North Carolina game, just didn't have enough.
