My next door neighbor, John Rohner, is an engraver.  In his late 80's, he's starting to lose his eyesight.  He has a lot of stories...

John Payne.  http://www.paynestudios.com/home.php

Reading ProTeal's post got me to thinking about John- an incredible welder and fabricator (he also rode a red Duc).  World-Class artist.  He'd occasionally ask me to tame his white mane, but I suspect it was evidence of his inside. It always kind of surprises me when anyone with a brain wants to talk to me beyond "You gonna finish that...?", but we were friends.
I thought a couple of you might like to look at some of his work in his website.  (Whoever put it together used pictures way too small, but what do I know.)
He's in a place now where the steel is a little lighter, and the fumes aren't toxic.

it's called missing the apex of a corner (excess speed suspected) and slamming into a ditch on the exit
don't panic, me and the bike were rebuilt

just to show I'm prepared to try anything, Ironhorse S&S 113 cubes

Some scenes from "Da U.P."....

"Big Gus" the world's largest running chainsaw (powered by a Chevy 350 V-8):

"Big Ernie" the world's largest operable shotgun:

And finally, a "Yooper Snowblower":
