Here's a shot I ruined of a Puch Twingle...

Two cylinders, two pistons, one combustion chamber.  Twingle engines are the pinnacle of failure in K.I.S.S. engineering theory ;D

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I've lost about 40lbs since that picture was taken (I was up to 250lbs!), but I've still got no chin and a moonface  ;D

.... abso-freakin-lutely free. Come and get it. ;)

bring your own engine - it doesn't have one anymore. :D

But seriously, if you've never driven a '69-'74 Ford Econoline.... you probably wouldn't like it.

Imagine a few meters of soggy pasta......

now imagine the soggy pasta connecting the steering wheel to the front wheels.

if the trans was a stick, the shift linkage would be worse.

there was a thread a while back where someone was commenting on loose steering in a pickup of similar vintage - they got nothing on the vans.

 ;D

Hahaha!  That imagery is priceless.

I just picked up a 1962 Puch 250 that I will begin restoring after I finish my CB750 Cafe project. I saw one in Serbia and decided I had to have one. The red one is mine, patiently awaiting my return to put on it's new shoes and take it for a spin.

Did someone say Cadillac?

I really need to clean my yard one of these years!

I prefer banana cream Twinkies to Twingles. If you eat enough of them they make you Puke rather than Puch.

This is what happens when you start to take things off the front end 'just to clean it up a bit'. Next thing you know it's time to replace steering head bearings and a leaky fork seal + do a fluff and puff on the cosmetic stuff...

And this is what happens when you leave mixed breeds in the same place...they multiply. Sophie remains the Alpha Female of the herd and the Mistress sulks out of sight under a sheet waiting for her turn.
