I know this must sound like a pretty lame question but could someone tell me how to go about removing the gas tank on my 72 CB750?

Pop open the seat latch. Turn off fuel tap. Disconnect fuel line. Press tank as far forward as possible. Pull back rear rubber mounting tab and maneuver the rear tab up and out of the rubber. Pull tank back off the front rubber bungs...done

Unlock seat and flip up.Pull 2 fuel lines off of fuel tap.Pull rubber retainer off of rear of tank.Lift tank up at rear and pull towards rear of bike.Buy a repair manual to learn more about your machine if you are going to DIY repairs. Rock On
