I asked the hardware guys, " Can I spray epoxy paint over enamel?" and they said, "sure, its just Lacquer that you can't overspray..." After prepping the frame, I shot it with a light coat of epoxy paint, only to quickly see once perfectly flat and smooth sections begin to wrinkle. Aircraft stripper and sanding to fix; eventually a beautiful frame once again.

  thanks, I needed a laugh today...

I'm going to sandblast this frame again (2nd time in about one year) this weekend and hopefully have it back in black in a week or so.
