Who makes the best float bowl o-rings?

The ones from Versuh are too long out of the box, and making them fit when you're doing jet changes is , well, just a @#$%^&*....

Versah?  I thought they just made engine gaskets?   K&L 550 gaskets don't really fit.   Keyster for the 550s and 77-78s fit good.

Back when I had my '73 CB500 I did the carbs, I feel your pain, those stupid things dont want to stay in. I figured out a trick that worked however:  I used tape (masking tape because thats what was within arms reach when I was doing it). I taped the o-ring bowl seal into the grove on the bowl on the corners and once between each corner then screwed it onto the carb loose. Just use a little tiny bit of tape and dont have it hanging into the bowl. Once the bowl was on but not torqued down, I slid the tape out and that left the o-ring in the groove. Voila! Torque down the screws and smile  ;D

I just recieved a whole set of o-rings to rebuild a set of four carbs for less than 20$.  The float bowl rings laid right in fine... as did the main jet, float jet ,and the drain. His address is
kthunter01@sbcglobal.net
hes also known as honfours on ebay. I hope he gets put on FAQ where to buy parts.. for carbs...

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!
