Hello from Buffalo
« on: March 16, 2008, 02:00:53 PM »
So, I have a new project.  For some reason, ever since I started with motorcycles, I have wanted a CB750, and especially a K3 (becasue it is my birth year, really, thats the reason)

So, here is the story - A client of mine was a CB750 guy in the 70's when he was a teen, knew the bikes, modded the bikes, crashed the bike, you get the idea, and so we would talk shop while conducting business.

Fast forward another 2 years, I have subsequently got the modern superbikes out of my system (CBR's and TLR), and was looking for a new project.  He found me a K3 in need of lots of TLC for $300.00  I say, for $300 done deal.

So this is what she looks like

and about 3 boxes of parts (lenses, gauges, indicators).  Not really a chopper guy, so the bars, seat, tank, and exhaust are going and will be replacing as they become available.

So, look forward to learning as much as I can, and Im sure i will have a TON of question.

Later
Nate

Is that sawdust on the bike or is it just that dusty?   :o

"In need of lots of TLC" is for sure but hey, for $300 you can hardly go wrong.

Welcome!
