Newly representing Cary, NC
« on: March 19, 2008, 04:45:29 PM »
Jus going crazy getting ready for my 1st riding season. Got a 76 CB550K fo 400.00 and have been cleaning fixing and replacing parts like a madman. Need help finding aluminum rims though. I have 3 extra OEM muffler pipes that need a new home and maybe a few more bits and pieces to swap, sell or even barter (in exchange for mech. help). Can't wait to meet you all and help and be helped. My main issue is do I go Cafe or stay original style, with mods and upgrades of course!

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

I wish there are some on Ebay though. They are tricky to find people list them as cb500, cb550,or 500/550 with pipes, muffler, or exhaust in the title. I guess folks just aren't in tune with parts titles. We should standardize parts terminology nationwide!

Greetings
May i encourage you to stow all the original parts away safely and go cafe so that you can have a more individual look , you can then put it back to factory spec whenever you choose. Best of both worlds . 8)
