Now this takes the cake

I;'m snooping around for a frame with title so i can build my lady  a bike someday.

This Guy in SF just offed me a 74k frame with paper and all that for $700.
I couldn't even respond back to him, i just knew i would involuntarily be a smart ass.
He needs to hold onto that frame for another 15years to get that kind of money

 Sounds like he's been spending too much time on the local Craigslist. Unbelievable what people are asking these days. $2500 for a 30,000 mile, average, non-original 75 F........grrrrrrrrrrr :P

Thats how it is these days. People are tired of the cruiser image and do not want a crotch rocket. So it is the old bikes that have personality and are different, that everyone wants.

I suppose people are also using the high gas prices as an excuse to jack up the cost of used bikes.

hahah Ya i know the Lady that is selling the 750F, she has a bike shop in Dog Patch. Most of stuff is way much $$.
She wanted 200 for a CBR F1 Swingarm with out axle and HW, just the arm.

What does a New CBR F1 Swingarm cost, i don't think they make them OEM new.

I bought the one i have on eBay with every thing on it shipped to my door for $50.

Yeah, but I bet if you ring your Honda dealer and ask him for a replacement, he'll want upwards of 500 bucks mate, maybe more? Cheers, Terry. ;D

Yes sir i do see your point, but a used part is a used part. I'm not one to try and get something for nothing, and i do appreciate that she is down there fixing bikes and selling parts. I offers her $100 for a part off a bike that had possably been wreaked or who knows what befor it ended up in a used bike slash motorcycle scrap yard. I think $100 dollars for a part with no guarantee is a fine deal.
