My '82.  Since this picture was taken, I've put new bars on her.  Yes, I know the seat is a horror.  I plan on sculpting a new one this summer.  In the meantime I may get some vinyl dye to color it black so it doesn't look so bad.  I also need new exhausts and a left side cover.

My seat looked like that after awhile. I ended up buying some vinyl from a fabric store and recovering it myself. It has a few wrinkles but looks much better.

Here's mine. I'm 3rd owner. I'm going to do something with it this winter, not sure what just yet.

No matter how fast or how far I rode, I couldn't leave her memory behind.

Finally got a pic of my bike. Still needs some work. But then again, it's only 29 years old. :)

A good carb cleaning is most likely all it needs, and I would say $200 is good considering I paid $630 for an '81 more than a year ago and am still working on it :-\ (undoing what the PO did).
Now  1972 CB350FX (experimental v2.0)

Does it count if I'm stuffing a 79 650 engine into a 71 cb500 frame? I have the engine sitting in my garage, need to get the coils, carbs, and various parts to get it all going. Not totally sure how far I want to go in terms of spicing up the engine. I'd like something bulletproof, but its a hybrid bike, so it demands some modification, right?

OK, so I guess I'm a nitwit, but how does one register? Not very intuitive.

81 cb650c out on the west coast of canada.  19500kms.  new tires, new brakes, runs great, carbs need a bit of cleaning. bailed going around a corner in the rain the other day doing about 45 mph so it's waiting for new bars, grips, mirrors, turn signal.  Gonna drain the tank and clean the tank of rust. (just gonna throw a chain in the take and shake the hell out of it!) gotta bend my headlight brackets back into shape and JBweld the front turn signal bracket. I'll get some pics up once it's done. I've got enough time so i might even paint the tank and side panels.......hmmmm.  Charcoal metallic???
