I guess we'll just have to catch up with them.  :D

btw, I joined the other honda twins site too and sent a helloooooooo to ya, Bill.  ;D

Well, thank you Micky, It'll be good to see you over there, I had seen that Kit was there as well. Nice to know there are others that I am already acquainted with, are there as well.  8)

I've wondered about that myself. I never asked because I figured, with my luck, I would be told No, but YOU can do one! ::) ;D  We DO NEED one though. I've got 2 80' CB650Cs (a runner and a parts bike)

OK, I'll start compiling the list.  I'll do it here in a post, modifying until I've got all listed and then alphabetical.

Corrections have been made to list.

And YOUR efforts are Most appreciated, I assure you! 8)

Now, we need to see about attracting everyone's (who has a 650) attention and get some more activity here (I'm including myself).

Seems I'm super late at this but I've got a hardtailed 81 650 in north central Florida. This seemed like a really good forum and I'm glad to find some other SOHC riders ;D.

Well, I can tell you that after removing, opening up and reinstalling the '79 carbs 6 TIMES, I've wanted to take a sharp object and trust it through my chest.  I can imagine CB650 owners who have done just that, their skeletons still leaning over the bike.

OHHH!  That reminds me, when I get started on MY 80' 650, I need to check out the carbs on it. Maybe I'll luck out and can handle it with only 1 opening? ??? ::) Hopefully! :)

The list needs to be fixed for my bike is a 1979. Anyone have any ideas on what I should do to my bike. I have no money I gotta use what I got already. I would like to repaint the tank and side covers but not sure. I am in desperate need of money so I can get a new rear tire, rear brakes, spark plugs, oil and oil filter. I don't work at all and it sucks not being able to get around on my cb650.

Yeah one more list change...
I have 2 '79 cb650's, and a '82.
Not a '79, a '81 and a '82.....

Although at one time that was also true....
Is this what they make 12 step programs for   ??? ;D ;D ;D

12 step program is needed.    Here is when I just had 3.  But they all ran good.  Davey was 2 or 3 then.   15 now.

I don't know about anyone else that's been missing, but I've been really busy with school for the last few months, and now I'm in the process of saving up money so I can fix up my Nighthawk before this summer. But at least I have some free time now.

hey, do you think this would fit and work correctly on the 650? we always had a problem with air bubble and tight fit with the straight ones since it kinda had to lay on it's side to fit in there. Ideas?

That might work.  I had never even entertained the idea of adding an in-line filter because of the tight fit in there.
