Airbleed needle K6 750
« on: January 21, 2009, 02:23:41 PM »
I am trying to make sure the low speed circuit of my carbs are correct, have a black plug issue on my STD D8EA plugs driven by stock coils and a Dyna point replacement unit.

The low speed adjustment needles are very ineffective and I wonder if the hole just above the taper of needle is standard?

Just seems counter productive, none of the rebuild kits I have viewed on the net show this clearly enough for me to know if they are different.

thanks
Mark

The hole is OEM.  TT will explain all about the boundry layer flow and inertia of the gasses.   ;D

Thanks King, this is what I needed to know, the physics of gas(mass) inertia is "less" important in these situations then what the engineers at Honda iintended, experience trumps theory!
