EDR anyone?

any east coasters here doing EDR next month?
i'm seriously considering getting onboard for next year...too late for 08.
that said, i've never gone over continuous 100 miles on my 77 f2, which has clip-ons...and not sure how well prepared i (or my back) would be for something as grueling as EDR.

guess i'll have to log more miles in prep for next yr!

I am thinking about going next year also!  I am going to be making a GS 1000 chop for the run.  Trying to get a few of my buddies to join in also!

I REALLY REALLY wanna do it.  Some of the guys have planned a 2600 mile in 13 days route across the whole freaking country.  Looks amazing, but you'd better not do it on a fresh build.  I'd only attempt it on a bike that's been together and running well for atleast 1000 miles.  It looks amazing though.  One of these days...
