well, with a $900 reserve and a $125 "documentation fee" it's certainly not a "bargain bike". However, if this is your first build and the bike runs, it might be a good starting point. Similar bikes could be had for less cash, but might not have a title and might "have run when parked". Which could mean a new battery and a simple carb clean, or could mean worse.
If the title matches the VIN, I wouldn't worry too much about whether it should be a F or a K.
Do you have a chance to go and look at it in person and hear it run before you bid?
My guess is that it won't make the reserve price and you might be able to buy it for less in person. Depends upon how much you happen to want this particular model and what your plans are for it. It's missing enough OEM parts that it's probably not a great candidate for a full resto, but if you're interested in making a custom type build out of it and don't care if particular stock pieces are missing, then it's worth a shot. Again, if you live close, I'd go and listen to the bike run and then wait until the end of the auction and see if you can snag it for a few dollars less.
Every dollar that you save on the purchase price will be quickly gobbled up by parts that you will need or want for your build.
