Anyone ever use these adapters?

Thought this was kind of cool although the oil filter would look kind of ugly.  But I am sure you could make a cool cover for them.

I am pretty sure that the two piece design can be a pain in the arse with leaks.
Someone that has used one will probably chime in

I have an adaptor like that on my 1978 CB550K, I put it on about 3 yrs ago. No problems with leaks and it saves the theads in the engine block. I buy a spin-on chrome filter from Blain's Farm & Fleet. A friend said its the same filter he uses for his H-D too. Hope this helped.

for those who don't want to advertise for fram, most HD dealers sell chrome spin on filters in the same size as the ones needed for those conversions.

Good to hear they work well and I think that may have to be my next investment.  WOuld make changing the oil alot easier.
