Permanent remove starter

Hi All

I want to permanently remove my starter and do Kickstarter only.
Any suggestions what to do with the entry hole in the starter chamber.
Should I close it or not worry about it?

You could take some gasket material and secure it with Permatex, or do nothing.

LOL! MY KZ400 is the "S" version - kick only, and basically has a kit like that installed from the factory under the starter cover. Never even crossed my mind to keep party favors in there :)

Well, only if he doesn't mind a massive oil leak. :o
When I first removed my starter, I used an expandable rubber freeze plug, which I later replaced with an aluminum plug I made.
 Bikedane, have you removed the reduction gears under the alternator cover, as well as the starter clutch on the back of the alternator rotor (assuming a 750)?
