Newbie in Ohio

Well I used to lurk around on this site a couple years ago but now that I am getting the old girl on the road, I thought I ought to join and show you what I've been working on in the mean time. I bought my 1978 cb750k on ebay for $200 a couple years back and used the forums to pick up info on how to fix it. I replaced tires, starter, did a tune-up,oil and filter, exhaust, front brakes, chain, sprockets, rear grab rail with sissy bar, fixed wiring,. I had to strip the gas tank and paint it as the po had tried to hand sand a 6" section with 60 grit and then decided to quit and spray with flat black can . I put on the fairing, have since put on lowers. I am looking for airbrush stencils now to put some kind of pirate theme on the tank and side covers. The theme goes with my other love, my 1972 26 foot wooden Lyman boat that will hit the water this year also. Plan on using my captains license this year to charter fishing and sunset cruises around the Lake erie Islands. I replaced the deck 2 years ago and redid motor last year. I can't seem to get away from projects.lol. I plan on pulling the carbs off the bike again this week and cleaning and syncing them before trying her out on the road if we ever get a little warmer here in Ohio. Well thats about it and  I did put up a gallery "Mike Jones" to see my toys.
