Builds that have gone horribly wrong, help me commiserate!
« on: July 08, 2009, 06:54:55 PM »
So I am fairly sure I'm not the only one to get into a build only to have things go fubar. So far, I've had to source a new frame because the steering stem was damaged (not my fault) and while trying to remove a dent tore a couple holes in an otherwise perfectly good fuel tank (definately my fault.) At this point I'm just hoping I can get it all back together and running before I have to start selling stuff to fund it.

Thanks for reading, and feel free to post your buggered build stories. Misery loves company.

I think you're the first one on here that has had trouble like this.  Usually we all go through a rebuild without a single incident ::)

Keep at it and it'll start to get better.

Har har har  ;D

No nothings gone wrong, I made that all up to see if anyone ELSE has ever had an issue. All I can tell myself is at least I didn't put NOS in the tank.  ::)

I cracked a drill bit off while drillin the front rotor, and now I have one hole bigger than the rest.  just too lazy to buy another bit.
