YEEEEHAAAAW
« on: March 31, 2008, 09:49:37 AM »
Just fired up the 650 with its new engine for the first time and took it for a spin around the block. YEEEEHAAAAW. Runs perfect, shifts perfect, sounds, smells, tastes perfect. Not finished with it yet, few odds and ends to go on, a few more tweeks here and there and then a final deep cleaning and polish. First ride of the season, although short, was great. I can barely type I'm so happy.

I am jealous!  I am still working on my wife's '81 with the '79 engine.  Took the carbs out again this last weekend!  I forgot to drain the bowls 9 months ago when I last tried to start it up.

Congrats!!!  That is a great feeling (from what I've heard ;D).

Add me to the 'Jealous' list :D  Still a ways to go here for me.

Good thing the wife's bike is of the "turn the key and it goes" variety lol.

Enjoy!
