Does the site have the contacts to produce a printed calendar of the years winners?

Are we looking at a volunteer to gather hi-res pictures and work magic with the online calendar people?

No... allow me to explain something; I'm what they call an idea guy. I come up with brilliant ideas and concepts and it's up to the action oriented people (over rated if you ask me) to carry out said ideas and concepts.

Seriously, I'm swamped with school work at the moment and a complete technology dinosaur.

Having just said that; once hell (school) is behind me I'd look into it. Being an art student I'd be ashamed if I didn't grasp an opportunity to participate in something like this for my fellow SOHC'ers.

Who should I pester about such matters?

One thing I excel at is pestering. I just bought a helmet off of eBay and I must have sent the poor guy a half dozen emails. It's a long story but is speaks to my infidelity with anything possessing a chip. I'm an Industrial Age kinda guy I think.

Still, I'd like to get in on this when I awake from my nightmare- end of semester.

And yes I am one of the worlds oldest college students!  ::)

i'm going to start the calendar in june 2008... i know, weird.
but the first winner was TC in june of '06... so, it looks as if we've got a 2 year calendar!
unless we want to pile 2 in each month.
i doubt that is a good option... i know my bike hates sharing the garage, much less, the limelight.   ;D
even though... it gets no limelight.   :'(

Just start the calendar in January, regardless of the month when the first BOTM was awarded.  Maybe others disagree, but I don't think the specific month that a bike was voted in is all that important.  Especially considering that none of the pictures have any kind of seasonal or holiday-specific type theme about them.  You could just put something in the lower corner of the picture that says what year and month the bike won the BOTM honor.

since the bikes wouldn't be in their appropriate months anyway... would anyone be opposed to mixing them up.
i don't want to see the last 2 years of my life on the computer in CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER!   ;D
yes, there would be captions for each bike and month/year that it reigned as SOHC4 of the month.

In my opinion I don't think chronological order matters. Maybe you could take all of the winning bikes, put them in a hat so to speak, and pick out the desired number.

Then, add the remaining to the next batch to create the next (there will be more calenders right?) year. Sure there will always be spill over to the following year but who would possibly care? If my bike was among the winners I'd be excited to merely have my ride in print. I wouldn't give a crap in what order or edition it featured.

In the girly (or beefcake) calenders nobody points out that Miss (Mr.) February was born after Miss (Mr.) July!

I think you begin the project when you can and release the darn Calender in January oh nine... that way you'll be ahead of the game.

OK I gotta nap.

I think you should start it in july but use last years july bike for this July.  Make the bikes one year behind but keep the calender so we can still use it.  You could put a little description on each bike telling what year & model it is, but you dont have to say which year it won.
