yes, in my opinion. Out of the seven bikes Shtone posted it is the only one that has worse performance than stock, is built in a style that never existed before about 2012 and is really just a poor imitation of builds that came from a single Tokyo Japan custom shop, or could it easily be put back to stock

no suspension travel...look how low the front is. That is not safe. Tire selection is also bad. Those tires are meant for restorations of 50's or earlier bikes, not 1970's bikes easily capable of over 100 mph. I doubt this bike has been ridden much since it was completed.

It may not fit your personal need to corner really fast.
But my opinion..
Very rideable..
Know your limit ..Stay Within it .... then you can ride thjs..

I rode mine quite a bit, way lower than that.. in fact I rode it 900 + miles to Bonneville, and back..

Frank, i dont disagree. Your stuff i. have seen never looked crippled. What is it that looks so great about literally throwing away the rear 1/3 of your bike, not replacing it with anything, and then saying, " look momy! I used a cut off wheel!"

Lol I prefer when the frames stay intact so it stays original.There's lot's of things that can be modified around the bike that don't involve chopping the frame.There are folks who modify them,add braces and other different things.Would those be considered custom modifications ? Has anyone tried bolting a rear hoop onto the rear-most frame seat rails using the holes in the frame back there ? I know it wouldn't look as custom but the frame would stay intact.

I cut the back off my 73 frame, the top part. . I think I left the fender tabs
The top of tire is up around the top of frame rails or higher. .. struts, no shocks.
If I run that frame again I will try to go with shocks, but limit the travel...
So if they did that on the brown seat bike the tire won't hit anything, just has less travel ..... but you keep your back longer...

Tires i can definetely agree with you on. Suspension does look lower but for an short rides or around town its probably pretty sweet. Also im fairly certain it was never intended to be built to run 100mph.

Some people seem to forget, motorcycles used to be made without swingarms... and yet they were still roadraced.
And they actually can be cornered quiet hard, so long as track is relatively smooth. When there is a lot of irregularities and bumps , then you have more need for suspension .
Some people prefer twisty roads all day.. others are fine on interstates for most riding. You build the bike according to YOUR Needs..
100 mph on Interstate would not be a problem with that bike. Lowered bikes have one thing going for them, much lower center of gravity..... all bikes by nature want to fall over, we keep them upright..... keeping a lowered bike upright is easier..

It's not a hacked POS but to most enthusiasts its hard to look at it. I'll say the most appealing thing about it is its simplicity and its solid black, which is why I drew inspiration from it for my build. That rear frame rail is just inches higher than the tire and the fork tubes are pushed through damn near 2 inches. In my experience I'll just be bottoming out front and rear suspension all day riding that....it's basically just a bar hopper. If you look at the stock set up on a 750 there is a good 6-8 inches between the tire and where the frame actually touches when bottoming out. It's just a structurally limited bike now, looks good, but doesn't ride any better.

I saw a video of going to the motorcycle races in Japan (I think) and in the parking lot there were 750 K0's and K1's for as far as the eye could see. I have not been able to find it again. Many other bikes too, but I was astonished by the number of Hondas.

I only did rear rotor, took about 6 or 8mm off the od, each side. THE notch or bite off the side took out one of the drill holes, it was a bit of work. He had a pic of rotor and a brake setup..... brought rotor and brembo caliper.... said make it look like pic..
That color of the frame..... I want to do a motor in silver, then all the removable engine covers in that color the frame is. Think it woukd look a titch more current , than what we usually run. . Looks good on the rims..
